The upside to this is the reaction of some to actually be moved to
vote and discuss this travesty with others. Complacency is our true
enemy. Every vote-every state.

There was a piece on NPR a couple of weeks ago that talked about the very much alive and open racism in Biden's home town of Scranton, PA.
It's unreal!

Then a number of people who won't say openly that they are racists, but will completely reject Obama on a single, stupid and wrong talking point then go la-la-la with the fingers in their ears.

I hope that this one time, this sentiment fails enough for Obama to make it into the White House and prove those people wrong. And that will be incredibly hard work.

I'm soooooo happy to see this guy isn't wearing a helmet.

A friend in Arizona reported seeing a similar bumper sticker the other day: "McCain - He may not be the right choice, but he's the white choice."

I was just having a conversation today with someone that insisted that race had nothing to do with the election and that racism no longer existed. Really? Proof positive.
I realize evolution is slow moving but maybe we can move all of the neo-cons near the NEW-CLEAR waste dumps (which they claim don't exist) so we can get a few rapid mutations. Whatdoyousay? Youbetcha! I'm going to share this on my profile as well. Chris, I am not surprised by this behavior but am deeply saddened. Tonight (in the 3rd debate) McCain, yet again, referred to the "gold plated cadillac" again; why hasn't anyone tackled that reference? Do we hear comments like these with such frequency that we become immune?

I'm worried that this whole sentiment goes much deeper than the election.
