Like my Grandmother Murphy always says: "If you're Black and not paranoid, you're crazy!"
And I suspect my . . . composure might fray over the years if I was one of only a handful of truly progressive public servants of the overwhelmingly milktoast senators and representatives in Washington, DC.
That's how I'm leaving the Cynthia McKinney debacle . . . for now, anyway.

All I could think when I heard about the incident was what was it that happened at that moment that caused her to forget who she was.

There is no excuse for doing wrong and Cynthia Mckinney was wrong. What is worse is that she played the "race card" instead of accepting her fault in striking the police office; she broke the law. One cannot be a lawbreaker and be a lawmaker; she should be arrested, prosecuted and removed from office. Being 'black' is no excuse for being wrong.Congresswoman Mckinney is symptomatic of a the dying old school civil rights pimps who have indecently exploited race as an excuse for power 'by any means necessary'...and black americans are getting tired of it. A recent DNC report noted that more and more blacks are ready to leave the Democratic party and vote for a Republican like Steele of Maryland. The moral relativsm of the left has left blacks in a worse state than ever while race pimps like Mckinney lie, cheat and break the law.
