We can complain all we want about the "whiteness" of the web or wi-fi, or any number of other things - but if we're not doing something about it, we're just generating that much more noise pollution.

Good points - but what are we - concerned (minority) citizens doing to help? I've got several wi-fi points across my hometown that are free, and only moderately encrypted - I just want to know who you are, etc. so I'm not being taken per se. I donate time, hardware and software to local schools and community centers to educate and inform. What fun is knowledge if you can't share it?
